Kongsvinger Lutheran Church is holding a Valentine’s Friendship Banquet Fundraiser on February 14th at 5:00 PM. Donations of any amount will receive dinner and dessert, gluten free options available upon request. Our teens will be sharing their artistic talents and there will be a trivia game with prizes. Funds go to support youth trip to the Higher Things Conference in Colorado this summer.

Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution Bemidji @ Sanford Center Bemidji

The February 2026 Ruby’s Pantry food distribution will take place on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, at the Sanford Center in Bemidji. Ruby’s Pantry is a Christian based organization and is for anyone that is looking to extend their monthly grocery budget. For a $25 per share donation, (exact change is preferred), you will receive an abundance of groceries. You can buy as many shares as you want. There is no income or residency requirement. This is a drive thru distribution, beginning at 3:30 pm. We will provide boxes for this distribution. Pre-pay for shares is available and can be purchased at www.rubyspantry.org. Pre-payers choose a time slot to pick up their share, and skip the sometimes long wait. Pre-pay closes at 3 pm on Tuesday, February 17th. We are always looking for volunteers. If you are interested, please put in an application at www.rubyspantry.org, click on “Volunteers” at the top of the page. This takes you to the app. Any questions? What: Preschool/Early Childhood Screening is a free and simple check of how your child is growing, developing, and learning. A trained professional will check:
• Vision and hearing • Height and weight • Immunizations • Large and small muscles • Thinking, language and communication skills • Social and emotional development

Who: Preschool/Early Childhood Screening is open to all children, ages three years old and up, who have not been screened. Children must be screened before entering preschool and kindergarten.

We are blessed to have Pastor Nate Johnson from Roseau Covenant Church sharing “Lessons from My Father” on Thursday February 26th at 6:00p.pm. at the Grain Bin in Grygla Mn.
Nathan was born in McAllen Texas and has bounced from Texas to Georgia, Arizona to New Jersey and 7 years overseas mostly in Scotland. He has spent most of the last 24 years in paid ministry, mainly working with youth.
His dad I was raised on a farm in Warren MN while his mother comes from the twin cities. He was connected to Roseau through Blue Water Bible Camp where he worked while in college.
Nathan has been married for 11 yrs. And has 3 children ages 7, 5, and 4 years age.
Men of all ages come and get blessed and inspired as we enjoy a great meal, songs of praise. A time of prayer, and a blessing from Pastor Nate.
